Who We Are
We are a local group of sports-obsessive individuals aiming to encourage people to "have a go" at sporting activities. We are working with various sports clubs across the Fylde coast and beyond, to produce a truly memorable weekend of active events.
We want to improve the local sports facilities Lytham St. Annes has to offer, to help sports clubs achieve this goal, and invite local people and tourists to take part in new sports. Our ultimate goal would be to see these improvements create the environment to produce world class sportspeople, but we know this will take a lot of time, but why not aim high? |
Our History
Coming together in 2015 we formed the Lytham Sports Festival Association, a not-for-profit organisation with the following simple aims:

Meet the team
Mark Selby - Founder
Mark is a Member of Lytham St. Annes Road Runners, a Leader in Running Fitness and a Coach in Running Fitness. He has been involved with various sporting activities and groups from an early age. He was born in Lytham Hospital and has lived in the area for most of his life. He is married to the lovely Katie, and has one young daughter called Eve, who seems to have enough energy to run a marathon!
Kira Curtis - Social Media
Kira is our resident social media guru and an incredible volunteer. As well as completing her first year at University, she's been raising money for Childreach International and will be climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro later this month.
